    Levinson Alcoser Associates provides architectural services for Buc-ee’s Travel Centers throughout the state of Texas. Each Buc-ee’s includes a large food and beverage sales area, retail/gift store, restroom facilities, gasoline dispensers, and an outdoor pre-engineered metal building for additional gift sales and storage areas. Buc-ee’s are well known for their immense, clean restrooms, which typically provide 38 water closets for women and 33 urinals and 12 water closets for men. The exterior materials consists of tilt wall construction with cultured stone exterior finish and stucco entry canopies. The interior space of the store contains ceramic walls and floor tiles.

    In addition to providing architectural services, our civil engineering team provided services for two expansion projects at the Buc-ee’s Flagship store in Luling, Texas. These projects included renovation of the existing store and the addition of more than 15,000 square feet
    to the facility, as well as adding more than 400 parking spaces, 8 RV parking spaces, and 32 fuel stations.

Having designed such a large number of Walgreens stores, we have a thorough understanding of the client’s expectations, as well as experience designing for multiple markets.     Levinson Alcoser Associates provided architecture and interior design services for Meredith O'Donnell Fine Furniture, a one of a kind, high-end furniture store and full design center in Houston. In business for more than 20 years, the thriving store outgrew its original space and moved to a new, much larger facility on Post Oak Boulevard between the Galleria and Uptown in 2012. The new location consists of 16,000 square feet of floor room and office space. Levinson Alcoser created a backdrop to showcase the unique, high quality furniture selection in a series of 30x30 foot vignette rooms with a large open space in the front and middle of the store. Areas for sales people, private offices, and workrooms are located in the back of the store.

    Levinson Alcoser served as the architect for the London Square Shopping Center, located in the West Kendall area of Miami. Anchor stores are Costco, TJ Maxx, Home Goods, and Ross, with a variety of other retailers such as Party City, Famous Footwear, Payless Shoes, and Mattress Giant. The center also includes three banks with drive-through facilities, a wide variety of restaurants, and a three-story office building that serves as an outpatient facility for Miami Children’s Hospital.

    Post Oak Plaza was an existing shopping center located in a high visibility area near the Galleria. Levinson Alcoser provided an extensive facelift to the center, with the most distinguishing feature being the more than 30 synchronized light boxes prominently positioned in the center’s façade. These boxes can be programmed for any color or combination of colors and are changed seasonally to give the center an ever changing evening dynamic. Major tenants include Pinto Ranch, The Arrangement, Home Source, Luby’s, Berryhill, Masraff’s Restaurant, and Meredith O’Donnell Fine Furniture. The redevelopment, rescaling, and re-tenanting of this project reestablishes this corner as a dominant and important retail opportunity in the Galleria area, setting the tone and quality standard for future projects in this quadrant of the Galleria.

The center has extensive landscaping and lighting that establishes a standard of excellence to compliment the quality of the surrounding residential developments. Bella Terra is designed for a wide range of users and includes personal services, a variety of restaurants, and major retail tenants such as PetSmart, Best Buy, and Ross Dress for Less.

    Levinson Alcoser served as the architect for University Town Center, which was developed in three stages for a variety of mixed-use space, including retail and restaurants. All of the buildings circle around a detention pond that was upgraded into a beautiful fountain feature. The fountain creates a wonderful ambiance for the night life and restaurant activities. Well positioned along University Drive, the center is in a highly traveled area near established residential areas and a high concentration of other restaurant, retail, and hospitality businesses.
